I don't know if you can get the full effect of the filth on these girls in the picture, but by the end of the day, my kids are covered in dirt. So... imagine what their baby dolls look like!
We had a washing day for baby dolls, stuffed animals, anything that looks washable. Although my boys are not the first to volunteer to play with baby dolls, they were into it too! It could be the buckets of water on a real hot day that drew them. Either way, we all had fun. Enjoy!
A little background for this video:
The noise is construction being done to work on our new kitchen.
The piles of sand and rock are there to mix for concrete.
The little African boy is Paul. He speaks no English, but he comes over to play anyway!
Waaaay too cute
ReplyDeleteI have posted twice now to your blog...and neither of the comments would go through. On each occassion, I merely put how much you all are loved, missed, appreciated, and prayed for. Jen...I never knew you could write so well. Your words and record of experiences are making up a priceless journal of the goodness of God, faithfulness of Jesus, the power of the Spirit...and your transparency is endearing to my heart. Sending you the biggest hug possible across the miles through prayer.
ReplyDeleteShannon- I'm glad your comment finally worked! Sorry about that. I don't know why it didn't work. Anyway, it's great to hear from you!!! Thanks for the giant hug and prayers! :) Love you!
DeleteOh my goodness Jen! It was so good just to hear your voice and to see the kids! They've all grown so much! Especially lil Elizabeth! Rachel misses her nursery playmate :) Miss you all so much! God bless! - The Kays
