Directed Prayer

So many of you have encouraged us - a ton - by letting us know you are praying. We are very thankful for that! We have a few things we are praying about specifically. Would you join us?

First, please pray for WISDOM especially for Tyler as much change is taking place within the ministry. Zane is back, but it seems that he will be out of here before we know it! Also, some dishonesty within the employees has been exposed and addressed. Pray for repentant hearts, unity here, and ultimately - God to be glorified!

Second, pray for PROTECTION. Too many poisonous snakes have been found and killed this week for anyone's comfort. We have been burning what is believed to be a cobra nest in front of our hut every night this week. Even with the burning, it seems that every night around 7PM, we find another. The new rule is to have kids in the hut right after dinner. We're looking into a fridge to store anti-venom since the hospital with the anti-venom is pretty far from us. The problem isn't necessarily the fridge, it's the energy needed to run it efficiently.

Third, pray for FAVOR. Zane has a court date on February 21 (this Thursday) for adoption of the next three children. (Elyssa, Enoch, and Ethan.) The date has already been pushed once. Pray that the judge will be have the time to hear their case, and it will go through smoothly. Two of the three children up for this adoption have sickle-cell anemia, which is life threatening. American medicine is pretty desirable for those two.

We appreciate your prayers so very much. We know God sees all of this, but He also honors a humble cry! So from half way across this big planet, we say THANK YOU!!! for remembering us, and for praying.

 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
